Comment:
leaving home in car when 2 pipits flew across the track in front of me and landed on edge in short grass. Leant out of car window to view. I was immediately drawn to the second bird, struck by it's olive green back, pale ear spot, broad yellowish supercilium, and white underparts of one bird compared to duller, plainer faced and dirtier white looking Meadow pipit. Both birds had streaked underparts with pink legs. The OBP then flew up onto the wooden fence before taking upwards flight and disappeared northwards. The Meadow Pipit flew into the garden of my neighbour. I didn't see the OBP again.
