On Foula the Buff-bellied Pipit was at Hametoun for 5 minutes before flying off north, a Pechora Pipit is at Ham and a Barred Warbler is on the island.

The Taiga Flycatcher is still at Tresta, Fetlar.

On Unst a Common Rosefinch and a Turtle Dove are at Norwick and 7 Whooper Swans are at Uyeasound.

A Barred Warbler is at Voe. A Common Redpoll is at Hoswick and 3 Common Redpolls are at Virkie.

The Arctic Warbler is still at Camb, Yell.

A Richard's Pipit and a Lapland Bunting were reported on Bressay.

A Barred Warbler and a Greenland Common Redpoll are at Leebotten. A Common Rosefinch is at Toab. A Greenland Common Redpoll is at Hestingott and a Barred Warbler is at Boddam. 13 Pink-footed Geese are at Sandwick and a Lesser Whitethroat is at Ocraquoy.

On Unst a Common Rosefinch and a Turtle Dove are at Norwick and 2 Whooper Swans are at Uyeasound.

75 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Out Skerries.

Taiga Flycatcher at Tresta, Fetlar - Rob Fray; Greenland Common Redpoll at Norwick - Dougie Preston; Snipe at Ocraquoy - George Petrie; Garganey at Boddam - Hugh Harrop

On Fetlar the Taiga Flycatcher is still at Tresta and 5 pale-bellied Brent Geese flew past Hamars Ness.

2 Hornemann's Arctic Redpolls (both new birds) are on Foula and a Greenland Common Redpoll is also on the island.

On Yell an Arctic Warbler is at Camb, a Lapland Bunting is at Cullivoe and a Snow Bunting is at Gutcher.Yell.

On Unst the adult American Golden Plover is at Lamba Ness, along with 30 Snow Buntings and a freshly dead Storm Petrel. 2 Common Rosefinches, a Barred Warbler, a Turtle Dove, a Greenland Common Redpoll, 3 Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff are at Norwick and a Peregrine is at Northdale.

The Buff-breasted Sandpiper is still at Ringasta. The Barred Warbler is still at Lower Voe and the Garganey is still at Boddam. A Lesser Whitethroat is at Ocraquoy.

A Bluethroat and a Barred Warbler are on Out Skerries.

On Fetlar a Taiga Flycatcher is at Tresta and a Barred Warbler is at Funzie.

A Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll is at Harrier, Foula.

The Arctic Warbler is still at Scalloway and the Buff-breasted Sandpiper is still at Ringasta. A Pectoral Sandpiper was at Virkie briefly this morning before flying off north and a Lapland Bunting is there. A Garganey is at Boddam, a Glaucous Gull is at Sumburgh and 6 Gadwall and 2 Pintail are at Spiggie. The Yellow-browed Warbler is still at Hoswick and other Yellow-browed Warblers are at Kergord and Effirth. A Barred Warbler is at Voe and 4 Lapland Buntings are at Sandvoe, Northmavine. A Lesser Whitethroat is at Swinister. Lots of Pink-footed Geese today, including at least 800 over Virkie/Sumburgh.

On Unst an adult American Golden Plover is between Skaw and Lamba Ness, a Yellow-browed Warbler is at Halligarth, 2 Common Rosefinches and a Greenland Common Redpoll are at Norwick, a Common Rosefinch is at Skaw, 35 Snow Buntings are at Lamba Ness, a Greenshank is at Baltasound and a Pintail is at Haroldswick.

A Common Rosefinch and a Lesser Whitethroat are on Out Skerries.

A Curlew Sandpiper is at North Garth, Yell.

Common Crossbill at Hoswick and Curlew, Greylag Geese, Oystercatchers and Wren at Sandwick - Lee Mott

A Buff-breasted Sandpiper is at Ringasta. The Arctic Warbler is still at Scalloway. A Yellow-browed Warbler and 3 Common Crossbills are at Hoswick. A Barred Warbler is at Voe. 3 Black-tailed Godwits are at Virkie. Several flocks of Pink-footed Geese moved through south mainland today, including 200 at Ringasta.

On Unst a Marsh Warbler is at Skaw and a Common Rosefinch, a Common Redpoll and a Turtle Dove are at Norwick.

A Common Rosefinch, a Barred Warbler and 2 Blackcaps are on Out Skerries.

A Common Rosefinch and a Lapland Bunting is on Out Skerries.

A Pink-footed Goose is at Brough, Whalsay.

The Arctic Warbler is still at Scalloway. A Grey Phalarope was reported past Eshaness, along with a Sooty Shearwater and a Lapland Bunting. A Barred Warbler is at Lower Voe. 2 Robins, 2 Chaffinches and 4 Wood Pigeons are at Kergord. 2 Purple Sandpipers, a Knot, 10 Arctic Terns and 200 Turnstones are at Melby. A Barred Warbler and 5 Pink-footed Geese are at Exnaboe, a Yellow-browed Warbler is at Hoswick and a Pied Flycatcher is at Cunningsburgh.

On Unst a Barred Warbler, a Common Rosefinch, at least 2 Willow Warblers, a Blackcap, a Chaffinch and a Common Redpoll are at Norwick. a Greenshank, a Song Thrush and 10 Pink-footed Geese are at Baltasound and 3 or 4 Lapland Buntings and 2 Snow Buntings are at Lamba Ness.

A Golden Oriole is at Cullivoe, Yell.

A Bluethroat, a Common Rosefinch, a Blackcap and 2 Snow Buntings are on Out Skerries.

An Arctic Warbler is at Scalloway. A Barred Warbler, a Redstart, a Pied Flycatcher, 3 Common Crossbills and a Willow Warbler are at Vidlin. The Yellow-browed Warbler is still at Hoswick and a Black-tailed Godwit is at The Wart, Sandwick. 22 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Lerwick.

The Arctic Warbler is still at Lund, Unst.

A Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Song Thrush, 2 Willow Warblers and 2 Blackcaps are on Fetlar, and 400 Pink-footed Geese flew over.

70 Pink-footed Geese flew over Skaw, Whalsay.

5 Snow Buntings, 6 Grey Herons and a Whimbrel are on Out Skerries.

A Citrine Wagtail is at Quendale. A Little Gull is at Grutness and 12 Pink-footed Geese flew over Boddam. A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Hoswick. A Slavonian Grebe is at Vidlin.

On Unst the Arctic Warbler is still at Lund, the Citrine Wagtail is still at Haroldswick and a Whinchat is at Norwick.

On Yell a Golden Oriole is at Cullivoe, 26 Pink-footed Geese are at Burravoe, a Lesser Whitethroat is at Camb and a Willow Warbler is at Otterswick.

34 Pink-footed Geese, 7 Snow Buntings, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Whimbrel are on Out Skerries.

A Barred Warbler is on Foula.

On Whalsay 19 Pink-footed Geese flew over Isbister and a Lesser Whitethroat is at Skaw.

On Whalsay the Arctic Warbler is still at Marrister and a Willow Warbler is at Brough.

An adult American Golden Plover is at Stenness, Eshaness. A Yellow-browed Warbler, a Pied Flycatcher and a Willow Warbler are at Hoswick and a Common Rosefinch is at Boddam. A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Kergord. A Stonechat is at Asta, a Pied Flycatcher is at Quarff and a Kestrel is at Weisdale. A Willow Warbler is at Cunningsburgh, 6 Knot are at Breiwick, Lerwick and 17 Sanderling are at Bigton.

A Richard's Pipit, 2 Bluethroats, a Barred Warbler, 5 Snow Buntings, 50 Pink-footed Geese and a Merlin are on Out Skerries.

A Barred Warbler, 2 Snow Buntings, a Whinchat, 2 Garden Warblers and a Blackcap are on Foula.

A Common Rosefinch and a Wood Pigeon are at Ocraquoy. 11 Pink-footed Geese flew over Garths Ness this afternoon and a Peregrine is at Boddam. 4 Manx Shearwaters and a Sooty Shearwater flew past Eshaness. 15 Common Crossbills are near Kveldsro in Lerwick. A Sand Martin is at Twatt, a Knot is at Melby and a Grey Heron is at Bridge of Walls.

A Barred Warbler is on Out Skerries.

Greenshank on Burra - George Petrie; Sooty Shearwater off Sumburgh Head - Gary Bell

7 Sooty Shearwaters and a Manx Shearwater flew past Sumburgh Head in 3 hours this afternoon. A Greenshank is on Burra and a Peregrine is at Twatt.

On Unst a Spotted Redshank is at Lamba Ness and a Sand Martin is at Norwick.

2 Whitethroats and a Willow Warbler are on Noss.

Late news for August 24th: drake Lesser Scaup still/back at Loch of Benston.

On Unst there are 2 Common Rosefinches at Norwick and a Barred Warbler, a Willow Warbler and 8 Sanderling at Skaw.

A Greenfinch, 30-40 Common Crossbills and a Willow Warbler are at Sandgarth. A Fieldfare, 2 Greenshanks and a Willow Warbler are at Grutness and a Green Sandpiper is at Sandwick.

The Barred Warbler is still at Scatness. 4 Common Crossbills are at Toab and 15 Bar-tailed Godwits are at Virkie.
