Canada Geese at Scatness - Steve Minton; Skylark - George Petrie; Spotted Flycatcher at Brough, Whalsay - Jason Atkinson; Red-necked Phalarope and Ringed Plover on Fetlar - Paula Moss; Marsh Warbler on Fetlar - Peter Stronach

The Great Reed Warbler is still on Out Skerries, along with a Red-backed Shrike, a Chiffchaff and a Common Sandpiper.

The Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Houlland. The White-tailed Eagle flew north over Virkie at 11:20. A Marsh Warbler, 6 Canada Geese and a Grey Wagtail are at Scatness and a Marsh Warbler was reported at Quendale this morning. A Spotted Flycatcher is at Ocraquoy. The Little Egret is still at Loch of Trondavoe.

On Fetlar there are 2 Marsh Warblers, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Willow Warblers, a Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcaps, a Dunnock, 8 House Martins and a Pied Flycatcher.

On Unst a Red-backed Shrike is at Halligarth and a Cuckoo is at Valla Field.

On Whalsay a Bluethroat is at Hamister and 2 Spotted Flycatchers and a Chiffchaff are at Brough.

Black Redstart at Skaw, Whalsay - Jason Atkinson; Whimbrel and Red Grouse at Cunningsburgh - George Petrie; Red-breasted Merganser at Boddam - John Moncrieff

The Great Reed Warbler is still on Out Skerries.

The Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Houlland. The Laughing Gull was on the runway at Sumburgh Airport this evening. The Honey Buzzard is now at Quendale, along with an Icterine Warbler. An Icterine Warbler is at Geosetter. A Common Crane is at Wats Ness and has been present for about ten days. 20 Sanderlings and a Great Northern Diver are at Melby.

On Whalsay a Golden Oriole is roaming the island, being seen at Skaw and Hamister, a Black Redstart is at Skaw and a 3 Spotted Flycatchers are at Brough.

The Golden Oriole is still at Halligarth, Unst.

The Great Reed Warbler is still on Out Skerries.

The Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Houlland and the Little Egret is still at Loch of Trondavoe. A Honey Buzzard was at Channerwick until 09:15 when it flew off high north. A Turtle Dove is at Scatness.

A Great Reed Warbler is on Out Skerries.

The Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Houlland. The male Subalpine Warbler is still at Scatness, along with a first-summer Little Gull and a first-summer Iceland Gull. A Chaffinch is singing at Sumburgh Farm. The Little Egret is still at Loch of Trondavoe.

On Unst a Golden Oriole and an Icterine Warbler are at Halligarth, 2 Icterine Warblers and an Icelad Gull are at Norwick and a Wood Pigeon is at Burrafirth.

5 Goosanders are still at Gutcher, Yell.

Lesser Scaup at Loch of Houlland, Wood Duck at Spiggie and Iceland Gull at Norwick - Stef McElwee

The Laughing Gull is still at Virkie and the Wood Duck, a Sedge Warbler and a pair of Scaup are at Spiggie. The drake Lesser Scaup is now at Loch of Houlland. 3 Pomarine Skuas flew past Wats Ness.

The Little Egret roosted at Voxter this evening. A Turtle Dove is at Virkie, a Tree Pipit is at Sumburgh Head and 123 Sanderling are at Scatness.

3 Common Scoters and a Whitethroat are at Brough, Whalsay.

5 Goosanders are still at Gutcher, Yell.

On Unst the adult Franklin's Gull was at Westing early afternoon and then at Loch of Snarravoe later in the afternoon.

The Laughing Gull is now at Virkie/Scord. The drake Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Benston and the Little Egret is at Trondavoe/Voxter. A Marsh Warbler is near Toft. A Marsh Harrier is at Dalsetter, a first-summer Iceland Gull is at Scatness/Exnaboe and 93 Sanderling are at Scord. A summer plumage Slavonian Grebe is at Laxfirth and 2 first-summer Iceland Gulls are at Lerwick. A Bar-tailed Godwit is at Melby. A Turtle Dove, 2 Garden Warblers and a Blackcap are at Swinister, a Whitethroat and a House Martin are at Sandwick and 50 Swallows and 10 House Martins are at Spiggie.

5 Goosanders are at Gutcher, Yell.

On Unst an adult Franklin's Gull was at Norwick until 12:10 when it flew towards Haroldswick.

The Laughing Gull was at Scord beach this afternoon. The male Subalpine Warbler is still at Scatness, along with a Cuckoo and 130 Sanderlings, and the Honey Buzzard was at Sumburgh Head this morning. A singing male Bluethroat and a Tree Pipit are at Sumburgh Hotel. A Golden Oriole is at Kergord. A singing Reed Warbler is at Geosetter and a Blackcap is at Ocraquoy.

On Whalsay a Marsh Warbler, 2 Tree Pipits, a Redstart and a Whitethroat are at Brough and a Canada Goose, Long-eared Owl and a Tree Pipit are at Skaw.

An Icterine Warbler and a Sedge Warbler are on Fetlar.

The Laughing Gull is still at Fleck/Boddam and the male Subalpine Warbler is still at Scatness. The Honey Buzzard is still around Sumburgh, being seen at Scatness, Grutness, Sumburgh Farm and Sumburgh Head. A singing Goldfinch and a Common Redpoll are at Sumburgh Hotel and 95 Sanderlings are at Scord beach. A Marsh Warbler is at Geosetter and a sinensis Cormorant is at Spiggie. A Hobby is at Skeld. The Little Egret is still at Trondavoe.

2 House Martins are at Norwick, Unst.

Honey Buzzard at Sumburgh Head - Rob Fray; Stonechat at Brig o' Fitch - Steve Minton

A male Subalpine Warbler and an Icterine Warbler are at Scatness. A Honey Buzzard flew south at Sumburgh Head at 11:45 and presumably the same bird was then watched eating Shag chicks (!) on the cliffs there for an hour in the afternoon. A Goldfinch is also at Sumburgh Head. A Nightjar was at Quendale in the evening.

The drake Lesser Scaup is back at Loch of Benston and a Black-tailed Godwit is at Grunna Water. The Little Egret flew over Sandgarth and was later at Trondavoe. A pair of Stonechats is at Brig o' Fitch.

The Laughing Gull was at Boddam again this evening. A Honey Buzzard flew south over Virkie at 12:20 and a singing male and a female Bluethroat are there. A nightingale sp. was at Maywick this morning. The Icterine Warbler is still at Channerwick and 6 House Martins are at Swinister. The Wood Duck is still at Spiggie and a Pied Flycatcher is at Clumlie. An Icterine Warbler was reported at Wester Quarff and a Waxwing was reported at Eshaness. An Icterine Warbler is at Vidlin. A Cuckoo is at Quendale, a Turtle Dove is at Girlsta and a Whitethroat is at Scousburgh. A drake Scaup is at Loch of Tingwall.

On Unst a Golden Oriole, a Jackdaw, 2 Sparrowhawks, a Garden Warbler and a Whitethroat are at Baltasound, the hepatic female Cuckoo is at Northdale, 3 Common Scoters are at Lund, a Sparrowhawk is at Skaw, a Redstart is at Lamba Ness and a Redstart is at Haroldswick.

A Sparrowhawk, 14 House Martins and 2 Swifts are at Brough, Whalsay.

On Unst a Golden Oriole, the hepatic female Cuckoo and a Sparrowhawk are at Baltasound and a male Bluethroat is at Burrafirth. A Sparrowhawk, a Whinchat, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Garden Warbler and a Common Redpoll are at Skaw.

A male Golden Oriole, a Wood Warbler, a Cuckoo and a Common Sandpiper are at Sandgarth, Voe. There are single Icterine Warblers at Noness, Scatness, Ocraquoy, Wester Quarff and Channerwick. A Wood Warbler and a Whitethroat are at Scalloway, 2 House Martins are at Tingwall, a Sparrowhawk is at Asta and 2 Pied Flycatchers, 2 Spotted Flycatchers and 2 House Martins are at Quarff. A Wood Warbler, a Sparrowhawk, a Pied Flycatcher and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Quendale, a Reed Warbler is at Scatness, 3 House Martins are at Spiggie and a Spotted Flycatcher is at Geosetter. A Black Redstart is on Mousa. A Reed Warbler is at Swinister.

On Whalsay there are 2 Icterine Warblers, a Common Redpoll, a Carrion Crow, a Tree Pipit, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, a Whitethroat, a Garden Warbler and a Robin at Skaw, 2 Wood Warblers, a Garden Warbler, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, a Whitethroat, a Pied Flycatcher, 2 Common Redpolls, a Tree Pipit and 2 House Martins at Brough and the Kumlien's Gull at Hamister.

3 Lesser Whitethroats are on Noss.

The summer-plumaged Laughing Gull is still occasionally visiting Boddam. An Eastern Subalpine Warbler was trapped and ringed at Scousburgh, where there is also a Chaffinch and a Redstart. A Nightjar and a Crossbill are at Sullom. A Quail and a female Bluethroat are at Virkie, a singing male Bluethroat is at Sumburgh Farm, a female Bluethroat is at Scatness and a male Bluethroat is on Mousa. An Icterine Warbler, a Wood Warbler and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Ocraquoy and an Icterine Warbler and a Wood Warbler are at Cunningsburgh. An Icterine Warbler is at Swining and a Wood Warbler is at Mossbank. A Swift and a Shoveler are at Spiggie. A Redstart, a Pied Flycatcher and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Kergord and a Spotted Flycatcher, a Pied Flycatcher and a House Martin are at Catfirth. A Spotted Flycatcher, a Pied Flycatcher and a Redstart are at Weisdale.

The male Subalpine Warbler is still on Foula, along with an Icterine Warbler, a Wryneck, a Black Redstart and a Grey-headed Wagtail.

On Unst, a Little Egret was at Haroldswick and Burrafirth in the morning and back at Haroldswick in the afternoon before flying off south, a male Bluethroat, an Icterine Warbler, a Sparrowhawk and an hepatic female Cuckoo are at Skaw (the latter being seen at Haroldswick 45 minutes later), a female Bluethroat and an Iceland Gull are at Norwick, a Long-eared Owl is at Northdale, 2 Bluethroats are at Baltasound, 40 Knots are at Burrafirth and a Greenshank and a Kestrel are at Haroldswick, while good numbers of comoner migrants are still around.

On Whalsay there are 3 Bluethroats, 2 Icterine Warblers, a Sedge Warbler and 2 Tree Pipits at Skaw, a Wryneck at Sandwick, a Bluethroat and a Tree Pipit at Vaivoe, the Kumlien's Gull still at Hamister and an Icterine Warbler, a Wood Warbler, 2 Common Redpolls and a Tree Pipit at Brough, along with good numbers of common migrants on the island.

On Noss there are 2 Bluethroats, a Grey-headed Wagtail, a House Martin, 2 Redstarts, a Whinchat, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, a Whitethroat, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Pied Flycatcher.

3 Bluethroats, a Wood Warbler, 3 Yellow Wagtails and reasonable numbers of common migrants are on Fetlar.

2 Swifts and a Common Sandpiper are on Out Skerries.

On Yell a male Bluethroat and a Brambling are at Gutcher and 2 House Martins are at Burravoe.

The summer-plumaged Laughing Gull is still intermittently visiting Boddam, and 3 Swifts and 2 Redstarts are there. In Lerwick a Nightjar was at Mounthooly Street briefly and an Icterine Warbler is singing there, and a Wood Warbler is by the Queens Hotel. An Icterine Warbler and a male Bluethroat are at Exnaboe although the Hawfinch that was there yesterday was killed by a cat today. A male Bluethroat, a Pied Flycatcher, a Redstart, a Whinchat and a Robin are at Sumburgh Head, a female Bluethroat is at Virkie, a Grey-headed Wagtail is at Clevigarth, a Bluethroat is at Quendale and a female Bluethroat, a Reed Bunting and 2 Yellow Wagtails are at Scatness. A drake Garganey is at Spiggie. A Wood Warbler, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Robin are at Ocraquoy.

The drake Lesser Scaup is now at Loch of Freester. A Little Egret is at Vidlin and it or another was later at Sandgarth, Voe, where there is also a Cuckoo, a Greenfinch, a Chaffinch and a Song Thrush. A Hawfinch is at Hillswick. A male Red-backed Shrike, a Brambling and a Pied Flycatcher are at Busta House, Brae.

The male Subalpine Warbler is still at Ham, Foula; also on the island there is an Icterine Warbler, a Grey-headed Wagtail, 2 Blue-headed Wagtails, a Ring Ouzel and a Crossbill.

On Noss there are 6 Bluethroats, a Grey-headed Wagtail, a House Martin, 3 Redstarts, a Whinchat, a Song Thrush, 5 Lesser Whitethroats, a Whitethroat, 3 Spotted Flycatchers and 2 Pied Flycatchers.

On Unst, a male Bluethroat is at Norwick, there are 2 Grey-headed Wagtails at Skaw and one at Baltasound, and 2 Shovelers are at Baltasound.

On Yell a Cuckoo and a Redstart are at Burravoe, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Pied Flycatcher, a Whitethroat and a Blackcap are at Camb, 2 Pied Flycatchers and a Whitethroat are at Cullivoe and 2 Redstarts are at Gloup.

On Whalsay there are 4 Tree Pipits, 5 Redstarts, 5 Garden Warblers, 4 Wood Warblers, 3 Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Common Redpolls, 3 Common Sandpipers, 5 Spotted Flycatchers, a Song Thrush, a House Martin, a Whinchat and 2 Pied Flycatchers.

A Lesser Whitethroat, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Garden Warbler are at Voehead, Bressay.

A summer-plumaged Laughing Gull is at Boddam and a Nightjar is at Sumburgh Quarry. A Bluethroat is at Toab and another is at Quendale. A Wood Warbler is at Scatness, a Hawfinch is at Exnaboe and 4 Swifts are at Spiggie. A Wood Warbler, 5 Garden Warblers, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Whitethroat, a Whinchat, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, a Common Redpoll, a Redstart and a Wood Pigeon are at Swinister, 2 Wood Warblers, 3 Spotted Flycatchers and a Garden Warbler are at Hoswick, a Pied Flycatcher, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Robin are at Channerwick and a Redstart and a Sparrowhawk are at Setter, Sandwick. A Kestrel is at Cunningsburgh and 2 Chaffinches are at Scousburgh. The drake Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Benston, with a female Greater Scaup. A Wood Warbler and a Cuckoo are at Kergord.

On Whalsay a Dipper, 4 Dotterel, an Icterine Warbler, a Common Sandpiper and a Cuckoo are at Skaw, 2 Sparrowhawks are at Symbister and 2 Redstarts, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Pied Flycatcher, a Common Redpoll, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Whitethroat and a Garden Warbler are at Brough.

On Out Skerries there are 5 Bluethroats, a male Red-backed Shrike, a Wryneck, a Wood Sandpiper, a Marsh Harrier, a Ring Ouzel, 8 Redstarts, a Sedge Warbler, a Reed Warbler, 2 Common Redpolls, 3 Song Thrushes, 7 Tree Pipits and a Swift.

On Unst, a male Bluethroat is at Burrafirth, an Icterine Warbler is at Baltasound, 2 Grey-headed Wagtails and a Sedge Warbler are at Skaw, a Sparrowhawk is at Norwick and, although most other migrants were seen in smaller numbers, 5 Tree Pipits, 4 Pied Flycatchers and 4 Common Whitethroats in north Unst were increases.

A Grey-headed Wagtail, 2 Bluethroats, 2 Redstarts, 2 Whinchats, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, a Garden Warbler, a Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Pied Flycatchers are on Noss.

A male Subalpine Warbler is at Ham on Foula; also on the island there is a male Bluethroat, a male Ring Ouzel, 2 Blue-headed Wagtails, a male Crossbill, a male Cuckoo, a Swift, a Grey Wagtail, a Song Thrush, a Sedge Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat, 2 House Martins, 2 Redwings, 2 Fieldfares, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 3 Whinchats, 4 Whitethroats, 4 Garden Warblers, 5 Chiffchaffs, 6 Tree Pipits, 6 Redstarts, 11 Willow Warblers, 11 Pied Flycatchers, 25 Swallows, a Whooper Swan and 3 Pink-footed Geese.

On Yell a Black-tailed Godwit is at Gloup, a Spotted Flycatcher,a Pied Flycatcher and a Garden Warbler are at Otterswick and a Whitethroat, a Redwing and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Burravoe.

On Bressay a Whinchat, 2 Whitethroats and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Voehead and a Redstart and a Pied Flycatcher are at Crueton.

A female Nightjar is at Swinister, along with 3 Lesser Whitethroats, a Redstart, a Pied Flycatcher, 2 Common Redpolls and a Common Sandpiper. 3 Bluethroats, a Reed Warbler, a Common Redpoll, 5 Tree Pipits, 3 Garden Warblers, 3 Redstarts, 6 Spotted Flycatchers and 2 Whinchats are at Quendale. There are other single male Bluethroats at Virkie, Toab and Levenwick. A Wood Warbler, 2 Pied Flycatchers, 2 Spotted Flycatchers and a Whinchat are at Geosetter and 85 Sanderlings are at Virkie. 3 House Martins are at Boddam. A Redstart is at Hoswick and a Spotted Flycatcher and a House Martin are at Channerwick. 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Redstart and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Cunningsburgh. A Redstart and a Chaffinch are at Scousburgh.

A Spotted Redshank, a Bluethroat, a Common Sandpiper, 7 Redstarts, 6 Spotted Flycatchers, 4 Pied Flycatchers, 3 Wood Pigeons, 2 Wood Warblers, 2 Garden Warblers, a Whitethroat, 2 Tree Pipits and a Whinchat are at Quarff. 2 Wood Warblers, a Pied Flycatcher and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Helendale, Lerwick. A Redstart is at Hoswick and a Spotted Flycatcher and a House Martin are at Channerwick. 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Redstart and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Cunningsburgh. A Greenshank is at Scatsta and a Wood Pigeon is at Twatt.

On Whalsay the Rustic Bunting is still at Bough, along with an Icterine Warbler, a Cuckoo, 4 Redstarts, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Wood Warblers, 2 Robins, a Pied Flycatcher, 2 Whinchats and a Whitethroat. 2 Bluethroats, a Whinchat, a Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Lesser Whitethroats and a Whitethroat are at Skaw, a Bluethroat, a Whitethroat, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Redstart are at Vevoe and a Hawfinch, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Pied Flycatchers and 2 Redstarts are at Symbister.

On Fetlar there are 5 Bluethroats, an Icterine Warbler, 2 Whinchats, 11 Redstarts, 32 Spotted Flycatchers, 7 Whitethroats, 9 Lesser Whitethroats and 5 Pied Flycatchers.

On Unst, the female Bluethroat is still at Lamba Ness and there are Wood Warblers at Burrafirth and Westing, a Black Redstart at Burrafirth, a Common Sandpiper and 2 Reed Buntings at Skaw, a Greenshank at Haroldswick, 2 Pied Flycatchers and 2 Garden Warblers at Baltasound and similar totals of commoner migrants to yesterday, although there were 17 Spotted Flycatchers in north Unst.

A Bluethroat, a Mistle Thrush, a Common Sandpiper, a Whinchat, 5 Lesser Whitethroats, a Garden Warbler, a Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Pied Flycatchers are on Noss.

A Wood Warbler and a Common Sandpiper are at Cullivoe, Yell.

A Pied Flycatcher, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Whinchat are at Voehead, Bressay.

On Whalsay a Rustic Bunting and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Brough and 2 Bluethroats, an Icterine Warbler and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Skaw.

On Out Skerries there are 5 Bluethroats, a Wryneck, a Red-backed Shrike, 4 Robins, a Black Redstart, 20 Whinchats, a Song Thrush, a Tree Pipit, 10 Spotted Flycatchers, a Reed Bunting, a Pied Flycatcher, 12 Redstarts, 10 Chiffchaffs, 25 Willow Warblers, 15 Lesser Whitethroats, 8 Whitethroats and a Garden Warbler.

The drake Lesser Scaup is still at Loch of Benston. 2 singing male Bluethroats are at Virkie, along with a Green Sandpiper, a Pied Flycatcher, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Whitethroat, a Whinchat, 114 Sanderlings, a Greenshank and a Knot. A male Bluethroat, a Sand Martin, a Robin, a Chaffinch and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Sumburgh Head, a Bluethroat is at Exnaboe and a female Bluethroat, a flava wagtail, a Whitethroat, a Swift, a Redstart, 2 Whinchats and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Scatness. A female Bluethroat is at The Sletts, Lerwick. A male Red-backed Shrike and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Noness and 2 Turtle Doves are at Fleck. A Wood Warbler and a Common Redpoll are at Geosetter and a Wood Warbler is at Quendale. A Tree Pipit and a Redstart are at Sumburgh Hotel, 4 House Martins are at Boddam, 35 Carrion Crows are at Hillwell and a Shoveler is at Spiggie. A Black Redstart, a Wood Warbler and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Cunningsburgh.

On Unst, there was a male Bluethroat at Norwick and a female at Lamba Ness, while there were also 12 Spotted Flycatchers, 7 Lesser Whitethroats, 6 Willow Warblers, 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 Common Redstarts, 2 Whinchats and 2 House Martins in north Unst, a Sparrowhawk and a Waxwing at Baltasound, a male Garganey at Haroldswick, an Iceland Gull at Norwick and a male Reed Bunting at Skaw.

The first Red-necked Phalaropes are back on Fetlar; also on the island are a Red-backed Shrike, 2 Pied Flycatchers, 4 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, a Whitethroat, 4 Redstarts and a Sedge Warbler.

On Foula a Honey Buzzard flew north at 20:45 and also on the island there is a pair of Garganey, a Bluethroat, a Wryneck, a Short-eared Owl, a Crossbill, a Sand Martin, a Blue-headed Wagtail, a Wood Sandpiper, 2 Whinchats, 5 Tree Pipits, 5 Redstarts, 5 Pied Flycatchers, a Grey Wagtail, 2 Sedge Warblers, 3 Whitethroats and 3 Pink-footed Geese.

A male Bluethroat is on Mousa, a male Bluethroat and a Chaffinch are at Sumburgh Head and a male Bluethroat, a Turtle Dove, 3 Redstarts, 3 Tree Pipits, a Common Sandpiper and 2 Goosanders are at Scatness. A Redstart is at Sumburgh Farm, a Pied Flycatcher and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Quendale, a Whinchat is at Brow Marsh and 62 Carrion Crows are at Hillwell. A singing male Bluethroat, a Sedge Warbler, a Whitethroat and a Spotted Flycatcher are at Virkie. A Wood Warbler and 2 Siskins are at Cunningsburgh. The Wood Duck is now at Spiggie, along with 2 Pintail and 2 Shovelers, and 2 sinensis Cormorants are at Hillwell. A Redstart is at Oxensetter, Northmavine. A Spotted Flycatcher and a Song Thrush are at Swining.

A Wryneck is on Foula.

On Unst 2 Reed Buntings are at Burrafirth and a Common Sandpiper is at Haroldswick.

2 Siskins are at Cullivoe, Yell.

On Fetlar a Glaucous Gull is at Tresta and a Whinchat is at Funzie.

A Wood Sandpiper is at Hillwell, a Short-eared Owl, a Common Redpoll, a Whitethroat and 3 Knot are at Virkie and a Barnacle Goose is at Scatness.

On Foula a Dipper is at Ham Burn and a Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll is at Burns.

A Hawfinch is at Brough, Whalsay.

On Unst a Sparrowhawk, a Grey Wagtail, a Tree Pipit and 4 Sand Martins are at Norwick and the Goldfinch is still at Uyeasound.

A summer-plumaged Franklin's Gull is at Garths Voe, Graven. The 2 Black Ducks are now at Scatness. A White-tailed Eagle drifted south over Mossy Hill at 11:40 and was then seen circling high over Fitful Head until 12:10. 2 Common Redpolls are at Sumburgh Hotel, a Swift is at Spiggie and a first-summer Iceland Gull is at Ringasta. 2 first-summer Iceland Gulls are at Gremista.

On Unst a Chiffchaff is at Skaw, a Snow Bunting is at Lamba Ness, a first-summer Iceland Gull is at Norwick and 4 Wood Pigeons, a Chiffchaff and a Blackcap are at Halligarth.flew

5 Long-tailed Skuas and 29 Pomarine Skuas flew past Wats Ness.

A Tree Pipit and a Goldfinch are at Sumburgh Hotel, a Swift is at Garths Ness, a Grey Wagtail is at Quendale and a Short-eared Owl, a Sanderling and 2 Knot are at Virkie. A Marsh Harrier, 2 female Goosander and 2 Shoveler are at Spiggie and 2 Gadwall and 4 Black-tailed Godwits are at Hillwell and 2 Knot and a Sanderling are at Grutness. 5 Carrion Crows are at Fleck and a Common Redpoll is at Scousburgh.

On Ust at least 200 Knot moved north past Balta Isle this morning and Golden Plovers have chicks at Skaw.

2 Black Ducks are at Hillwell, although they flew off towards Spiggie at about 20:10; the Wood Sandpiper is also still at Hillwell. 4 Goldfinches are at Boddam and 25 Carrion Crows are at Fleck. An adult Iceland Gull is at Bigton. A Swift, 2 House Martins and 3 Iceland Gulls are at Loch of Clickimin. A Jackdaw is at Weisdale.

On Unst there are 14 Carrion Cows with 62 Hooded Crows at Baltasound, 2 more Carrion Crows at Haroldswick and a male Hen Harrier at Norwick.

On Bressay there are 2 Siskins and a Common Redpoll at Voehead and 4 Carrion Crows at Keldabister.

A Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Wood Pigeons are on Out Skerries.

A Pectoral Sandpiper is at Hametoun, Foula.

A Marsh Harrier is at Spiggie. 37 Carrion Crows and 28 Whimbrel flew north over Scatness, and a first-summer Iceland Gull and a Wood Pigeon are also there. 2 Manx Shearwaters flew past Eshaness.

A Green Sandpiper and Yellow Wagtail are at Haroldswick.

There was no sign of the Solitary Sandpiper or Laughing Gull on Foula today in poor weather, although a Hawfinch is on the island.

A Wood Sandpiper, 2 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler and 2 Sand Martins are at Hillwell and a sinensis Cormorant is at Spiggie. A Hawfinch, a Willow Warbler and 3 Wood Pigeons are at Helendale, Lerwick. A Glaucous Gull and 3 Carrion Crows are at Sandwick and 2 House Martins are at Boddam.

A Carrion Crow is at Brough, Whalsay.

On Foula a Solitary Sandpiper (the 2nd Shetland record) was at Ristie from 13:30 to 15:00 and an adult Laughing Gull flew past Ristie at 13:00.

An Iceland Gull and 3 Carrion Crows are at The Wart, Sandwick. A Kestrel is at Quarff and a Common Sandpiper is at Virkie. 3 Common Sandpipers are at Loch of Voe.

The Goldfinch is still at Uyeasound. 2 Siskins are at Brough, Whalsay. 3 Sand Martins are on Out Skerries.

The female Goosander is still at Loch of Vatsetter, Maywick. A Blackcap is at Voe and a Wood Pigeon, a Greenfinch and 2 Siskins are at Sandgarth, Voe.

On Unst a first-summer Iceland Gull was at Lamba Ness before flying towards Norwick.

On Whalsay a Whinchat and a Tree Pipit are at Skaw and 6 Common Redpolls, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Carrion Crow are at Brough.

On Unst a pair of Gadwall and a Sand Martin are at Uyeasound and an Arctic Tern is at Haroldswick. 4 Common Scoters are in Bluemull Sound.

The Ruddy Shelduck was photographed at Spiggie early morning but was not seen subsequently, and the Great White Egret and 2 drake Garganey are at Spiggie. A Long-eared Owl is at St Sunniva Street, Lerwick. 2 Sand Martins and 30 Swallows are at Hillwell, 3 Arctic Terns are at Sumburgh and 7 Siskins are at Cunningsburgh. 4 Swallows are at Eela Water and a Shoveler is at Loch of Trondavoe.

The Goldfinch is still at Uyeasound.

6 Common Redpolls and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Brough, Whalsay.
