The Black Kite is still in the Channerwick/Bigton area. A Great White Egret is at Brow Marsh and the Common Nightingale is still at Toab. A crane sp. (presumably Common) flew north over Oxensetter, Northmavine at 11:00. A Goldfinch and a Knot are at Virkie and a Black-tailed Godwit is at Quendale.
A Common Whitethroat is on Out Skerries.
On Whalsay the Kumlien's Gull is still at North Voe and 4 Common Redpolls, a Fieldfare and a Willow Warbler are at Brough.
A female Goosander is at Loch of Littlester, Burravoe.

The Black Kite was in the Channerwick area until about 15:00 when it spiralled high and was lost to view. A Common Nightingale and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Toab, a Greenshank, a Black-tailed Godwit and a Lesser Whitethroat are at Virkie and 2 female Goosanders, 2 Shovelers and an Arctic Tern are at Spiggie. The drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall. A Greenfinch, a Willow Warbler and a Chiffchaff are all singing at Helendale, Lerwick. 80 Purple Sandpipers are at Melby.
The Goldfinch is still at Uyeasound.
On Whalsay 4 Common Redpolls are at Brough and a presumed Kumlien's Gull is at Hamister.
On Yell a Siskin is at Cullivoe and 2 Whooper Swans are at Sand Water.

In Lerwick a Willow Warbler is singing in Bank Lane, 3 Iceland Gulls are at Loch of Clickimin, a Willow Warbler, a Linnet, a Greenfinch, 2 Wood Pigeons and 3 Siskins are at Helendale and 29 Purple Sandpipers are at Ness of Sound. A pair of Gadwall are at Sandy Loch.
A Goldfinch is at Uyeasound.
On Whalsay a Common Redpoll and a Willow Warbler are at Brough and a Brambling is at Skaw.
On Yell 4 Siskins are at Cullivoe and 3 Whooper Swans are at Sand Water.

A first-summer Iceland Gull is at West Voe of Sumburgh, a Dunnock and 2 Redwings are at Sumburgh Head and a Dunnock is at Virkie. An Arctic Skua is at East Voe of Scalloway, a Swallow is at Bridge End, Burra and 2 Swallows are at Papil, Burra.

The male Subalpine Warbler reappeared at Scatness this evening but is very elusive. The first-summer Kumlien's Gull was also at Scatness this afternoon, along with 2 Sand Martins, 3 Swallows, a Blackcap and a Chiffchaff. The drake Wood Duck has reappeared at Brow Loch. At least two first-summer Iceland Gulls are in the Virkie/Scatness area, a Sand Martin and a Carrion Crow are at Hillwell, 2 Gadwall are at Quendale dunes and 2 Greenfinches are at Boddam. A Dunnock, 7 Swallows, 3 Bar-tailed Godwits and a Common Tern are at Virkie. The 2 Tundra Bean Geese are now at Sandwick, along with two first-summer Glaucous Gulls and a Carrion Crow. 5 Iceland Gulls are at Lerwick and 3 Siskins are at Ocraquoy. A Blackcap and a Siskin are at Sandgarth, Voe.
A Sparrowhawk, an Arctic Skua, 2 Snow Buntings, a Carrion Crow and a Swallow are at Baltasound.
2 Linnets are on Out Skerries.

A singing male Subalpine Warbler was at Scatness this morning but was not seen after about 09:15; a Sand Martin, 2 Swallows, 3 Fieldfares, an Arctic Skua, an Iceland Gull, 2 Chiffchaffs and the Ring-necked Duck x Tufted Duck hybrid are also at Scatness. An Iceland Gull is at Virkie. The Hawfinch is still at Hillswick. 2 Fieldfares are at Scousburgh and a Greenfinch is at The Sletts in Lerwick. A Common Tern is at Olligarth, Whiteness.
An Osprey flew south over Baltasound at 19:35, a Kestrel is at Quoys and an Arctic Skua is in Bluemull Sound.
A Siskin and a Chiffchaff are on Out Skerries.

2 Iceland Gulls are at Virkie, one of which showed characteristics of Kumlien's Gull; a Common Tern, a Knot, 2 Gadwalls and a Carrion Crow are also at Virkie. A sinensis Cormorant, a female Goosander, 2 Gadwall and 2 Shoveler are at Spiggie and a Snow Bunting is at Bigton. An Osprey is at Sand Water and a Hawfinch is still at Hillswick. A Goldfinch and a Chiffchaff are at Scousburgh. A Brambling, 2 Siskins and a Chiffchaff are at Ocraquoy and the Ring-necked Duck x Tufted Duck hybrid is at Scatness . A flock of 50 Ravens is at Twatt. There was no sign of the Wood Duck at Brow Loch today, although it has gone missing before.
A male Marsh Harrier was at Haroldswick this morning.
A Dunnock and a Siskin are on Out Skerries.
A House Martin is at Gutcher.

The drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall. The drake Wood Duck is still at Brow Loch although it is rather flighty. 2 Iceland Gulls are at Loch of Clickimin and a Willow Warbler and a Wood Pigeon are at Helendale. The Hawfinch is still at Brae and another Hawfinch is still at Hillswick. A Goldfinch is at Cunningsburgh and a Siskin and a Chiffchaff are at Ocraquoy. A Chiffchaff and a Chaffinch are at Lower Voe.
5 Siskins and a Blackcap are at Voehead, Bressay.

Snow Bunting at Eastwick - Diane
A White-tailed Eagle flew north over Scatness/Quendale at 12:50 and was later seen over Mossy Hill. This bird had been over Fair Isle and North Ronaldsay earlier in the day and had spent the last couple of months on Mull; it is a wing-tagged individual from the 2007 reintroduction programme in eastern Scotland.
A redhead Smew is at Loch of Houlland. A Greenfinch is at Oxensetter, Northmavine. The 2 pale-bellied Brent Geese are still at Virkie, along with 2 Carrion Crows and 4 Bar-tailed Godwits. A Goldcrest is at Toft. An Arctic Skua is at Maywick.

Sandwich Tern in Quendale Bay - Gary Bell; Goldcrest at Sumburgh Head - Rob Fray; Wren at Skaw and Lapwing at Lamba Ness - Wendy Dickson
The Velvet Scoter is still at West Voe of Sumburgh and a Sandwich Tern was there this morning before moving to Quendale Bay, where there are also 2 Common Scoters. The Black-tailed Godwit and Knot are still at Virkie, a Goldcrest is at Scatness and a Goldcrest and 2 Robins are at Sumburgh Head. A Chaffinch is at Scousburgh, 4 Shelducks and 2 Shovelers are at Spiggie and 2 Shovelers are at Hillwell.
On Unst there are 3 Snow Buntings at Lamba Ness and a pair of Goosander at Loch of Snarravoe.

A drake King Eider is at Laxfirth. A Stock Dove and 2 Wood Pigeons are at Toab, the Velvet Scoter is still at West Voe of Sumburgh and a Chiffchaff and a Greenfinch are at Scatness. A Grey Plover, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Knot and a Grey Wagtail are at Virkie and a Robin and a Chaffinch are at Sumburgh Head. A pair of Shoveler are at Hillwell and another pair are at Spiggie. A Peregrine is at Twatt.
On Unst the Tundra Bean Goose and a Long-eared Owl are at Norwick, a Sand Martin is at Burrafirth and a Common Redpoll is at Skaw.
A Blackcap, 7 Chaffinches, 4 Bramblings and 3 Greenfinches are on Out Skerries.

A Grey Plover, a Knot and a Wood Pigeon are at Virkie, 5 Wheatears are at Sumburgh/Grutness, a Wood Pigeon and 2 Bonxies are at Grutness and a Chaffinch is at Sumburgh Head. 3 Chaffinches and a Greenfinch are at Scatness, a Pintail is at Boddam, 2 Shovelers are at Hillwell and a White Wagtail is at Quendale. 6 Siskins are at Lower Voe. A Chaffinch is at Cunningsburgh. A Wheatear is on East Burra.
On Unst the Shore Lark is still at Lamba Ness, a Swallow is at Baltasound and a Redwing is at Northdale.
A Blackcap is on Out Skerries.

A drake King Eider is at Wadbister - up to three have been at this site since 30th March.
2 Wheatears and a Wood Pigeon are at Grutness. A Mistle Thrush, a Greenfinch and 2 Chaffinches are at Scatness and a Black-tailed Godwit, a Knot, a Wood Pigeon and a Linnet are at Virkie.
A Wheatear and 2 Wood Pigeons are at Lamba Ness.

On Whalsay a Stock Dove and a Pied Wagtail are at Saltness and a Chiffchaff is at Skaw.
A Bonxie is on Fetlar. On Yell, 12 Snow Buntings are at Gloup and 5 Chaffinches and 2 Greenfinches are at Cullivoe. On Unst there are 4 Snow Buntings and a Redwing at Uyeasound and 4 Whooper Swans at Easter Loch.
2 Greenfinches are at Scatness. 8 Iceland Gulls are in the Gremista/Catch area of Lerwick. 54 Purple Sandpipers and a Pied Wagtail are at Melby and 120 Wigeon are at Norby. 33 Great Northern Divers are in South Nesting Bay.
