Injured Glaucous Gull at Baltasound - Mike Smith

A juvenile American Golden Plover is at Stenness, Eshaness. A Waxwing, a Greenfinch and 5 Siskins are at Ocraquoy. There are 72 Jackdaws at Virkie, 36 at Ringasta and 10 at Kergord. A Chaffinch is at Exnaboe and a Siskin is at Toab.

An injured Glaucous Gull was picked up at Baltasound.

Tuesday 30th October 2007

The Killdeer is still at Virkie, along with a Knot and a Bar-tailed Godwit. The Little Egret, a redhead Smew, a female Scaup and a Shoveler are at Spiggie and the drake Ring-necked Duck, 3 Pochards and 2 Little Grebes are at Loch of Tingwall. The Great Tit and 6 Siskins are at North Road, Lerwick and 80 Snow Buntings are on Mousa. There are 5 Bramblings, 3 Greenfinches and 4 Siskins at Ocraquoy.

On Unst, a Jackdaw is at Baltasound and a Great Northern Diver is at Haroldswick .

Little Egret at Spiggie and Grey Wagtail at Sumburgh - Jim Nicolson

The Little Egret is still at Spiggie. There are 4 Jackdaws, 2 Robins, 10 Siskins and 2 Blackcaps at Kergord, a Jackdaw at Frakkafield, 35 Snow Buntings at Scatness and a Goldcrest and 2 Siskins at Toab. At Loch of Benston there are 236 Wigeon, 10 Whooper Swans and a Scaup.

On Yell, there are 6 Snow Buntings at Ulsta.

Jackdaws and Brambling at Virkie - Rob Fray; Hooded Crow - George Petrie

The Killdeer is still at Virkie, along with 80 Siskins and 19 Jackdaws. The Little Egret is still at Spiggie, along with 166 Whooper Swans, 5 Gadwall, 6 Pochards, 4 Slavonian Grebes and 5 Barnacle Geese. There are 7 White-fronted Geese, 36 Whooper Swans, a Little Grebe and a Scaup at Loch of Hillwell. 12 Siskins and a Greenfinch are at Ocraquoy. A Little Grebe is at Sand Water and 3 Common Terns are at Hillswick. Whooper Swans today included 19 at Twatt, 13 at Eshaness and one at Urafirth. A Blackcap, a Robin and several Siskins are at King Harald Street, Lerwick. A Woodcock, a Siskin, 2 Bramblings and 2 Greenfinches are at Maywick, and 10 Bramblings, 8 Greenfinches, 20 Siskins, 2 Blackcaps and a Robin are at Sandgarth, Voe. 12 Siskins are at Kirkhouse Burn, Voe.

A Richard's Pipit, a Barred Warbler, 6 Long-eared Owls, 25 Jackdaws, 80 Siskins, 35 Bramblings and 2 Reed Buntings are on Out Skerries.

On Yell, there are 11 Snow Buntings at Ulsta.

Long-eared Owl and Jackdaw on Out Skerries - Peter Flint; Blackcap at Sandgarth, Voe - Tony Gerrard

A Wood Lark is on Out Skerries, along with 2 Long-eared Owls, 21 Jackdaws and a Brambling.

The Little Egret is still at Spiggie and the Great Tit is still at North Road, Lerwick. A Lapland Bunting is at Toab, 20 Jackdaws flew south at Virkie and a Bullfinch and a Sparrowhawk are at Sumburgh Head. There are 4 Greenfinches, 3 Blackcaps, 3 Bramblings and 2 Siskins at Sandgarth, Voe, and 3 Jackdaws and 3 Snow Buntings are at Sullom Voe.

On Unst, 2 Bonxies are at Burrafirth and 3 Bramblings are a Baltasound.

Friday 26th October 2007

A Great Tit is at North Road, Lerwick. Jackdaws today included 26 on Out Skerries, 12 at Kergord, 2 at Hoo Fields, north of Lerwick, and one at Sullom Voe. There are 2 Bramblings and 4 Greenfinches at Sandgarth, Voe.

Waxwing at Oxensetter - Stan Brown

The Killdeer is still at Virkie, a Jackdaw is at Toab, single Woodcocks are at Grutness and Sumburgh Head and there are 4 Jackdaws, a Lapland Bunting and a Greenfinch at Aithsetter. A Waxwing is at Oxensetter, Northmavine. A Jackdaw is at Scousborough and a Greenfinch is at Maywick. There are 17 Siskins, a Greenfinch and a Brambling at Girlsta and 4 Jackdaws and 2 Snow Buntings at Sullom Voe.

There are 720 Golden Plovers at Baltasound, Unst.

40 Jackdaws are on West Isle, Out Skerries.

A Little Egret is at Loch of Spiggie, along with 76 Whooper Swans, 243 Wigeons, a Little Grebe, 2 Long-tailed Ducks, a Slavonian Grebe, 5 Barnacle Geese and 2 Scaup. Two Woodcocks, 9 Siskins and 2 Blackcaps are at Sumburgh Head, 8 Siskins and 3 Bramblings are at Helendale, Lerwick and 6 Greenfinches and 3 Blackcaps are at Sandgarth, Voe. A Peregrine is at Norby, a Woodcock and a Greenfinch are at Huxter, 3 Bramblings and a Greenfinch are at Dale of Walls and 5 Knot are at Bixter.

Plenty of Jackdaws today: 40 on West Isle, Out Skerries, 25 at Bousta (Sandness), 12 at Melby, 5 at Sumburgh Head, 3 at Norby, 3 at Huxter, 2 at Sumburgh Farm and one at Dale of Walls.

The Killdeer is still at Virkie and a Smew is still at Scatness, along with the Mallard x Pintail hybrid.

A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Otterswick, Yell.

Monday 22nd October 2007

The Killdeer is still at Virkie and the White-rumped Sandpiper was reported there again briefly in the morning. A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Wester Quarff.

A redhead Smew is at Loch of Housetter, Northmavine, 9 Snow Buntings are at Collafirth Hill, 20 Siskins are at North Collafirth and 14 Siskins are at Voe.

A Hen Harrier is near Houll, Fetlar and a Manx Shearwater flew through Bluemull Sound.

White-rumped Sandpiper at Virkie - Rob Fray

The Killdeer and White-rumped Sandpiper are still at Virkie and the Buff-breasted Sandpiper was at Fleck in the morning. There are 64 Whooper Swans at Spiggie and 8 Siskins at Hoswick.

On Unst, the Nightingale is still at Northdale, a Glaucous Gull is at Lamba Ness, a Snow Bunting, 2 Greenfinches and 2 Blackcaps are at Norwick and 2 Siskins and a Song Thrush are at Skaw.

A Short-eared Owl and a Peregrine are on Fetlar.

Common Redpolls at Sandwick - Dave Hall

The Killdeer is still at Virkie. A White-rumped Sandpiper and a Buff-breasted Sandpiper are reportedly at Fleck and a Bluethroat and a Red-breasted Flycatcher is at Sumburgh Head. A Little Egret flew south at Grutness this morning and there are 2 Smew at Scatness. The Hawfinch is still at Longhill, Dunrossness, a Stock Dove and 8 Common Redpolls are at Sandwick, a Snow Bunting is at Fogrigarth and a Jack Snipe and 89 Wigeon are at Kettla Ness, Burra.

A Yellow-browed Warbler, a Pied Flycatcher, a Greenfinch, 4 Chiffchaffs and 4 Blackcaps are on Fetlar.

Two late Bonxies are at Lumbister, Yell.

A Hawfinch is at Longhill, Dunrossness, the Great Tit is still at Lerwick and a Woodcock is at Sullom Voe.

The Blyth's Pipit is still at Sumburgh, around the Bristow's helicopter building and adjacent dunes. An Olive-backed Pipit and a Barred Warbler are at Sumburgh Farm. A Radde's Warbler and a Lapland Bunting are at Toab, the White-rumped Sandpiper is still at Virkie and a Buff-breasted Sandpiper is at Quendale. A Great Northern Diver is at Melby, 7 Whooper Swans are at Norby and 64 Wigeon are at Loch Collaster. Two Goldfinches are at Firth.

The Rough-legged Buzzard is still on Foula.

The Nightingale is still at Northdale, Unst.

A Yellow-browed Warbler was found dead in a building on East Isle, Out Skerries .

A Blyth's Pipit is at Sumburgh, around the Bristow's helicopter building and adjacent dunes. A White-rumped Sandpiper is at Virkie, having earlier been seen at Quendale dunes and a Canada Goose flew over Quendale. A Hawfinch was at Ireland before flying towards Bigton and a Barred Warbler is at Sumburgh Head. Two Common Redpolls and 2 Gadwall are at Scatness and 9 Grey Herons are at Swinning.

An Arctic Redpoll is at Sand Sound, near Tresta. A Common Buzzard is at Kergord.

Rough-legged Buzzard and Olive-backed Pipit on Foula - Martin Garner

On Unst, a juvenile American Golden Plover is at Haroldswick, along with a Richard's Pipit, a Curlew Sandpiper and 5 north-western Common Redpolls. Three Common Redpolls are at Baltasound.

A Rough-legged Buzzard is on Foula, along with 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Ring Ouzel and a north-western Common Redpoll.

A Dusky Warbler is on Out Skerries.

A redhead Smew and a Little Grebe are at Loch of Spiggie, the drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall and the Great Tit is still at Lerwick by the Kveldsro Hotel, along with a Yellow-browed Warbler. Two Lapland Buntings are at Toab, 15 Barnacle Geese are at Virkie and 28 Pink-footed Geese are at Sandwick. Two Yellow-browed Warblers and a Bullfinch are at Kergord, 2 Water Rails and 5 Greenfinches are at Sandgarth, near Voe and a Water Rail is at Voe.

An Olive-backed Pipit is still on Foula.

Monday 15th October 2007

The Pallas's Warbler is still at Sumburgh Head, along with a Woodcock and a Whitethroat. The Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall and a Great Tit is at Lerwick (near Kveldsro Hotel). A Gadwall is at Scatness, a Black-tailed Godwit and 2 Shovelers are at Loch of Hillwell and a Pied Flycatcher is between Boddam and Clevigarth. 2 Slavonian Grebes are at Weisdale Voe.

A Yellow-browed Warbler is at West Yell.

A Dusky Warbler is on Foula .

A Rustic Bunting and a Dusky Warbler are at Sumburgh Farm and a Little Bunting and the Paddyfield Warbler are at Quendale. The Red-flanked Bluetail is still at Scatness, the Pechora Pipit, Short-toed Lark and a Lapland Bunting are at Toab and the Pallas's Warbler is still at Sumburgh Head. The Killdeer was reported again at Virkie this afternoon. The drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall. A hornemanni Arctic Redpoll and a Black Redstart are at Collafirth, Northmavine. A Long-tailed Tit was reported at Helendale, Lerwick.

On Yell, a hornemanni Arctic Redpoll is at West Yell and there are Yellow-browed Warblers at Otterswick (2), Burravoe and West Yell.

On Unst, the Blyth's Reed Warbler and 12 north-western Common Redpolls are at Norwick, a Nightingale was trapped at Northdale and a Yellow-browed Warbler is at Halligarth.

On Foula there are 3 Olive-backed Pipits, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Common Rosefinch.

Yellow-browed Warblers today included 7 at Kergord, 5 at Helendale, 3 at Quendale, 2 at Toab and singles at Geosetter and Grutness.

On Unst, a Blyth's Reed Warbler, 1, possibly 2 hornemanni Arctic Redpolls, a Common Redpoll, a Common Rosefinch and a Yellow-browed Warbler are at Norwick, 3 Common Redpolls and a Hen Harrier are at Haroldswick, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers are at Halligarth and a Ruff is at Burrafirth.

An Olive-backed Pipit and 2 Common Rosefinches are on Foula.

A Pechora Pipit is at Toab, along with the Short-toed Lark, 8 Lapland Buntings and a Redstart. A Blyth's Reed Warbler is at Helendale, Lerwick and a Red-backed Shrike is also there. A hornemanni Arctic Redpoll is at Quendale and the Paddyfield Warbler is still there. A Dusky Warbler,a Pallas's Warbler and a Red-breasted Flycatcher are at Sumburgh Head. The Melodious Warbler is still at East Voe of Quarff and a Long-eared Owl is at Wester Quarff. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 7 at Helendale, 2 at Wester Quarff, 2 at Geosetter and singles at Sumburgh Head, Gulberwick, Hoswick, Grutness, Boddam, Quendale, West Yell and Seafield, Lerwick.

On Unst, a Dusky Warbler is at Norwick and a Pallas's Warbler was reported briefly at Ungirsta, Haroldswick (not Burrafirth as reported on other services). There are 2 Yellow-browed Warblers at Halligarth and singles at Norwick, Baltasound and Haroldswick.

A Dusky Warbler and a Little Bunting are on Out Skerries.

Wood Lark at Noness - Jim Nicolson

A Greater Yellowlegs is at the north end of Foula, although it disappeared during the late afternoon and could not be refound. This is the first Shetland record.

The Wood Lark is still at Noness. There are 12 Pink-footed Geese at Sandwick, 8 Barnacle Geese at Clumlie, a Carrion Crow at Fleck and a Bar-tailed Godwit and 2 Knot at Virkie.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe, Yell.

A Little Bunting is on Out Skerries.

Paddyfield Warbler at Quendale - Dougie Preston

The Paddyfield Warbler is still at Quendale, the Wood Lark is still at Noness and the Melodious Warbler is still at East Voe of Quarff, along with a Stonechat. A juvenile American Golden Plover is north of Ruff Loch, West Burra. A Short-toed Lark, 2 Lapland Buntings and a Tree Sparrow are at Toab and a Red-breasted Flycatcher is at Sumburgh Head. The Killdeer is atill at Pool of Virkie. A Barred Warbler is at Hoswick, 15 Common Redpolls are at Sandwick and a Bullfinch is at Wester Quarff. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 4 at Boddam, 4 at Wester Quarff, 4 at Toab, 4 at Hoswick, 3 at Sandwick and singles at Exnaboe, Grutness, Geosetter, Quendale and Scalloway.

The hornemanni Arctic Redpoll was reported again at Skaw, Whalsay.

On Yell, the Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe, along with a Yellow-browed Warbler, and another Yellow-browed Warbler is at Oxensetter.

A Little Bunting and a Bluethroat are on Out Skerries.

Yellow-browed Warbler at Bousta and Fieldfare at West Burrafirth - Steve Minton

A Paddyfield Warbler is at Quendale. A Wood Lark is at Noness and a Melodious Warbler is at East Voe of Quarff. A Little Bunting is at Veensgarth and a Hoopoe was reported at Hamnavoe, Burra. The drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall, along with 5 Scaup and a Long-tailed Duck. A Kestrel is in the Sumburgh/Virkie area, there are 5 Greenfinches and a Water Rail at Sandgarth, Voe and a Black-tailed Godwit at Melby. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 4 at Dale of Walls, 2 at Quendale and singles at Veensgarth and Bousta (near Melby). An escaped Yellow-fronted Canary is at Swinning.

An Arctic Warbler is at Symbister, Whalsay, and there are at least 3 Yellow-browed Warblers on the island.

A juvenile American Golden Plover is at Northdale, Fetlar.

A Little Bunting is on Out Skerries.

Goldcrests at Northdale (2 photos) and Baltasound, Melodious Warbler and Yellow-browed Warbler at Baltasound and Snow Bunting at Lamba Ness - Gunther Degenfelder

On Foula, there is a Lanceolated Warbler at Hametoun (present since at least Saturday 6th) and an Olive-backed Pipit at Ham.

On Unst, an Arctic Redpoll is at Uyeasound, the Melodious Warbler and 2 Yellow-browed Warblers are at Baltasound and a Yellow-browed Warbler is at Haroldswick.

On Whalsay, the Citrine Wagtail is still at Symbister, along with a Barred Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler and 4 Common Redpolls, a Lapland Bunting, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Peregrine are at Skaw, a Yellow-browed Warbler is at Vaivoe and 3 Slavonian Grebes are at Isbister.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe, Yell.

The Buff-breasted Sandpiper is again at Fleck. The Killdeer is still at the Pool of Virkie, along with a Curlew Sandpiper, a Black-tailed Godwit and 8 Barnacle Geese. The drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall, along with 3 Scaup and a Long-tailed Duck. A Red-backed Shrike is at Kergord, the Barred Warbler and 3 Slavonian Grebes are at Hoswick and a Common Rosefinch and 2 Lapland Buntings are at Toab. There are 6 Slavonian Grebes at Loch of Spiggie and 16 at Catfirth, and 40 Barnacle Geese flew over Channerwick. A Water Rail is at Swinning. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 6 at Hoswick, 5 at Kergord, 3 at Upper Kergord, 3 in south Yell, 3 at Lunna, 2 at Whiteness, 2 at Sullom, 2 at Vidlin and singles at Channerwick, Grutness, Swinning, Toab, Wester Quarff and Exnaboe.

A Common Rosefinch is at Houbie, Fetlar and there are 7 Yellow-browed Warblers on the island.

A Yellow-browed Warbler, a Lapland Bunting, a Turtle Dove and 120 Snow Buntings are on Out Skerries .

Sunday 7th October 2007

There has been no sign of the Dendroica warbler sp. at Kergord House, although there is a Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Pied Flycatcher and 4 Yellow-browed Warblers there.

The Killdeer is still at Pool of Virkie, along with a Tree Sparrow, a Peregrine and 15 Barnacle Geese. The drake Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch of Tingwall, a Long-eared Owl is at Vidlin and 3 Slavonian Grebes are at Catfirth. Four north-western Common Redpolls are at Scatness and the Barred Warbler is still at Hoswick. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 4 at Hoswick, 2 at Quendale, 2 at Vidlin and singles at Grutness and Toab.

On Whalsay, the Citrine Wagtail is still at Symbister and 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Lapland Bunting and a Redstart are at Skaw.

On Unst, the Melodious Warbler is still at Baltasound and a Great Grey Shrike is at Skaw.

Olive-backed Pipit at Swinister - Dave Hall; Yellow-browed Warbler at Hillwell - Steve Minton; Pied Flycatcher at Sandgarth, Voe - Tony Gerrard; Common Redpoll at Firth - Karn Crow; Redwing at Skaw, Unst - Gunther Degenfelder

A Dendroica warbler sp. was reported at Kergord House this evening, but the views obtained were insufficient to conclusively identify it. Despite pager messages etc to the contrary, the identification of this bird is NOT necessarily a choice between Bay-breasted Warbler and Blackburnian Warbler.

An Olive-backed Pipit is at Swinister, Sandwick. A mobile Buff-breasted Sandpiper is at Fleck. The Killdeer is still at Pool of Virkie, along with a Curlew Sandpiper, a Little Stint, 18 Barnacle Geese and 2 Lapland Buntings. A north-western Common Redpoll is at Exnaboe, with another at Firth, a Barred Warbler is at Hoswick and 3 Lapland Buntings are at Toab. The Grey Phalarope was reported briefly at Loch of Spiggie this morning. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 4 at Quendale, 3 at Hoswick and singles at Sumburgh Head, Toab, Grutness, Exnaboe, Virkie and the Eel Burn at Hillwell. There are Pied Flycatchers at Channerwick and Sandgarth, Voe.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe, Yell.

Brambling at Skaw, Unst - Gunther Degenfelder

A male Siberian Rubythroat is at Hametoun, Foula. Also on the island there are apparently 3 Blyth's Reed Warblers, a Pechora Pipit, 4 Olive-backed Pipits, a Common Rosefinch, a Bluethroat and 6 Yellow-browed Warblers, although it is not clear whether all these birds were seen today or over the space of the last week or so.

On Whalsay, the Blyth's Reed Warbler is still at Oaklea Cottage, Symbister, the Citrine Wagtail is at Symbister, the hornemanni Arctic Redpoll is at Skaw and a Little Bunting is at Vaivoe.

The Killdeer is still at Pool of Virkie, along with 10 Black-tailed Godwits. A Short-toed Lark is at Toab, along with a Common Rosefinch, a Barred Warbler, 3 Lapland Buntings and a Tree Sparrow. The American Golden Plover is still at Fleck and 13 Barnacle Geese are there, having earlier flown over Toab. The King Eider is still off Glendale, Trondra. The drake Ring-necked Duck and 14 Pochards are at Loch of Tingwall, a Mistle Thrush and a Ring Ouzel are at Upper Kergord and 9 Slavonian Grebes are at Tresta Voe. Yellow-browed Warblers today included 3 at Kergord, 3 at Eswick, 2 at Exnaboe, 2 at Grutness, 2 at Hoswick and singles at Sumburgh Head, Toab, Swinning, Catfirth, Wester Quarff and Voxter.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe, Yell.

The Melodious Warbler is still at Baltasound.

Jim Nicolson; Steve Minton; Pale-bellied Brent Goose at Quarff - Jim Nicolson; Merlin at Ocraquoy - George Petrie; Lapland Bunting at Garths Ness and Little Stint at Noss, Spiggie - Steve Minton

An Olive-backed Pipit was at the Virkie willows and a juvenile American Golden Plover is at Fleck along with 100 Pink-footed Geese and a Pale-bellied Brent Goose. There was a passage of Pink-footed Geese with 500 over Spiggie in the morning and 140 over Sumburgh Head at 14:50, while 30 flew over Hillwell, along with another Brent Goose. A Little Stint is still at Loch of Spiggie, and a juvenile Little Stint and a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper are at Pool of Virkie. A Lapland Bunting is at Garths Ness. A Grey Wagtail is at Fladdabister. A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Voe.

A hornemanni Arctic Redpoll was at Skaw, Whalsay, briefly before flying off SE, the Blyth's Reed Warbler and the Citrine Wagtail are both still at Symbister, and 10 Yellow-browed Warblers, 175 Pink-footed Geese, 2 Grey Wagtails and a Lapland Bunting were also seen on the island.

The Swainson's Thrush is still at Houbie on Fetlar, with 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and 2 Common Rosefinches on the island.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe on Yell. There are 6 Bar-tailed Godwits at Hamnavoe, Yell and 30 Pink-footed Geese flew south over the island.

The Spotted Sandpiper has been seen again at Lamba Ness on Unst but is very elusive, while 2 Glaucous Gulls and a Yellow-browed Warbler were there, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and the Great Grey Shrike are at Norwick, 2 Common Rosefinches are at Northdale, Unst, and 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Barred Warbler are at Baltasound.

On Out Skerries there is a Grey Heron, 2 Pink-footed Geese, an Arctic Tern, 3 Wrens, a Robin, 10 Wheatears, 9 Blackbirds, 6 Fieldfares, 30 Redwings, 5 Song Thrushes, 3 Blackcaps, 2 Chiffchaffs, 5 Yellow-browed Warblers, 28 Goldcrests, the Tree Sparrow, 4 Bramblings, 39 Twites, a Reed Bunting and 55 Snow Buntings.

A Black-tailed Godwit is at Melby.

The Swainson's Thrush is still at Houbie on Fetlar.

The Little Bunting is still on Out Skerries.

A Pale-bellied Brent Goose is at Quarff. There are 3 Yellow-browed Warblers at Geosetter and a Barred Warbler and 6 North-western Common Redpolls at Boddam. A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Swining. A Bluethroat is at Burravoe on Yell.

The Blyth's Reed Warbler is still at Whitefield, Symbister, Whalsay, and there are 11 Yellow-browed Warblers on the island.

The Swainson's Thrush is still at Houbie on Fetlar.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe on Yell.

The Melodious Warbler is still at Baltasound, the Great Grey Shrike is still at Norwick along a Yellow-browed Warbler and a Barred Warbler, and a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Glaucous Gull and 21 Snow Buntings are at Lamba Ness, Unst.

The Killdeer is still at Pool of Virkie. The Grey Phalarope is still on the north end of Loch of Spiggie  and a ringtail Hen Harrier is there.

The Swainson's Thrush is still at Houbie on Fetlar and the Marsh Warbler is at Funzie.

A Blyth's Reed Warbler is at Whitefield, Symbister, Whalsay.

The Killdeer is still at Pool of Virkie and the Grey Phalarope is still on the north end of Loch of Spiggie along 2 Little Stints, one an adult. An adult Little Stint, presumably the same, was at Pool of Virkie. A Yellow-browed Warbler is at Geosetter and another at Hoswick.

The King Eider was seen off Trondra. There are Yellow-browed Warblers at Asta and Scalloway. The male Ring-necked Duck is still on Loch of Tingwall.

The Spotted Sandpiper is still at Burravoe on Yell.

An Arctic Redpoll is with Twites at Uyeasound, the Buff-breasted Sandpiper is still on Lamba Ness, Unst, the Great Grey Shrike is still at Norwick along 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and 2 Barred Warblers and a Yellow-browed Warbler is at Skaw.
